Spring Break in Las Vegas

Once again we traveled to our favorite place.... LAS VEGAS! We had four days packed with fun. The weather was great while we were there. In Indiana, however, it was terrible, so a good week to miss! By now everyone should know we are planners and love to get good deals. Well Las Vegas is a town of deals if you look close enough. Before we went we were able to snag some items from our MyVegas game on Facebook. We had two FREE night helicopter tours over the strip, a complimentary picture with the helicopter, two FREE show tickets to KA at MGM, two FREE show tickets to The Beatles LOVE at the Mirage, and two 2-for-1 Buffet tickets to the Mirage buffet. All those items together were valued at over $600. We paid $0 for them. I also got some items off Groupon for super cheap! So before we even left we had planned out what nights we were doing what and so on.  We arrived in Las Vegas on April 1st and headed directly to our hotel. This was our first time at Harrah's. We loved our locat...

Fall Break in Las Vegas

I am officially back to the land of the working people. P.S. I hate it. Can't we just always be on vacation? No? Okay, well I guess I'll just tell you what we did while we were on vacation. We just got back from 7 nights in Las Vegas. Don't get me wrong, Vegas is still our city, but 7 nights was a little long. Our butts dragged all the way home! We packed in a ton in the week we were there! I always love being in Vegas during March Madness or during football season. Everyone is so pumped to cheer on their teams. Our football gear is always a huge hit! We saw Nathan Burton's comedy magic show. It was awesome, we really enjoyed it. We got our tickets on Groupon.com for $10 each! You can't beat that! We saw Zarkana at the Aria Hotel & Casino.  Wow, this hotel is gorgeous and Zarkana was AWESOME. It was one of our favorites! We also saw Love at the Mirage. The music was good, but it wasn't our favorite show.  It didn't have the...

You Only Live Once....

I used to really care about other people's opinions. Growing up it seems like you always want to please others. You want to make your parents, teachers, family proud, you want to be perceived as cool by classmates and the older kids, but the one person you don't aim to please is yourself. You always seem to come last. As I have gotten older, I have really came to the conclusion, I don't care what other people think.  Do I want to be liked? Yes, who doesn't?  Do I care if you think your car or house is nicer than mine? Nope. What if people judge me for my life choices? That's okay, let them think what they want. It doesn't matter what choices you make, someone will always think you should be doing something different. I know the Hubby and I have went on a lot of vacations this year and that people think we are nuts, but I don't care. Life is about living. We currently don't have children, so why not enjoy being able to take a trip on a whim?!? ...
