We are TV and Movie folk!

Joe and I are officially what you consider TV and movie folk. I don't know how many times we will be with family and friends and they make the comment, "Hey do you want to watch _______?" We usually have to respond, well we can, but we already saw that one! So because I think we have pretty good taste in TV shows, I decided to make a list of our favorite of all time TV shows! I know there are plenty more we should watch, but give us time people, give us time! Here is our list: 1. Breaking Bad- Breaking Bad is the absolute best show we have ever watched! I mean that is a big statement to make, but 100% true. To think that Joe didn't want to keep watching after episode 1 because it was "too intense"...whew that would have been a HUGE mistake. If you haven't see it I would definitely recommend getting Netflix and watching the entire series (it's officially all online now). Disclaimer : This show is addicting and we have been known to ...

Back to Back Championships!

From October to March our lives are consumed with girl's basketball! Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the kids and the sport, but we have very little time to do anything else! Joe has coached girls basketball for 4 years now. We have had very sucessful teams over those years but especially the last two years. This week our kids won their Sectional for the second year in a row....what makes these wins even more sweet is they beat their arch rivals to get the win. I'm pretty sure the other teams coach was probably crying after the game. 2014 Sectional Champs! Me & Joe with the trophy...(I keep stats, I should get my picture with the trophy too!) . That is my crazy husband coaching...haha good picture! We head to regionals this Saturday! Hopefully we can pull out another victory!

Let's try this blog thing...

Hello, my name is Kara. I am an avid blog follower. I follow several cooking and DIY blogs. Blogs just seem so silly since you are reading tips and tricks written by a complete stranger and that they become so addicting. After you read for awhile, you get to a point where you feel like you know the blogger and you are freinds. Then when they haven't posted in a week you are wondering what happened!? lol. I guess that is a sign of a good blog, a good writer and devoted readers! So I decided that a blog might be a great way to document some of our adventures as a married couple. We are in our twenties, but we are wise beyond our years. My husband, Joe, and I do not think like most 20 somethings! We are trying to start our married life out on the right foot. I may be biased, but I feel like we live a frugal lifestyle in an unbelieveable fashion, so I hope to use the blog as kind of a living album of adventures in our life! Until next time! Kara
